Voices of night and daylight: on the waves of «Independence» radio

Shkrabyuk, Petro. Voices of night and daylight: on the waves of «Independence» radio. – Lviv, 2009. – 224 p.

«Independence» FM radio is one of the best regional mass media in Ukraine. For 18 years it has been broadcasting to people the truth about Ukrainian past and present days.

This book is telling about the peculiarities of foundation and activity of the radiostation, various social & political collisions and hitter losses, relations with the regional state radio and television. At the same time, it includes the childhood and university memoires of the «Independence» creator, of his group-mates and of the author of this work – a writer, Doctor of History, a Fellow Member of the Iv. Krypyakevych Institute for Ukrainian Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Since the events described in the hook are a piece of our shared national history, we hope that every person who has not yet lost his/her interest in that history and in reading as such shall be eager to get acquainted with it.
