International relations are one of the key indicators of democracy of power regimes and society’s tolerance. Th e collective monograph has analyzed national relations in the western Ukrainian lands during the liberation struggle in the first half of the 20th century, the practice of international relations during World War II, features of development in the western regions of Ukraine in the second half of the 20th – early 21st centuries. Th e researchers focused on the characterization of Ukrainian-Polish, Ukrainian-Czech, Ukrainian-Hungarian, Ukrainian-Jewish relations. At the same time, the importance of the national issue in political and public organizations’ activities was revealed and in the political, socio-economic, cultural, and educational transformations of the western lands of Ukraine in the period.
