In the study, the social environment of the priest,
ambassador, general administrator of the Stolovi dibry of the Greek Catholic
Church, a trusted man of Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytskyi, Father-Mitrate Tyt
Voinarovskyi, is analyzed. T. Voinarovskyi is an example of service to God,
love for people, and responsibility to the people, who with his productive and
multi-vector activities, economic skills, and knowledge earned respect and
authority among the population. As uncovered, he had many like-minded people
and friends among representatives of various social strata and nationalities.
Based on archival materials, in particular, T.
Voinarovskyi's epistolary legacy, Father-Mitrate's relations with
representatives of the clergy, politicians, lawyers, businessmen, and
cooperators, cultural personalities are analyzed, for instance, Metropolitan
Andrei Sheptytskyi, Fr. Yosyp Slipyi, Yevhen Hvozdetskyi, Tadei Solovii, Stepan
Fedak, Yosyp Salts, Yevhen Olesnytskyi, Stanislav Dnistrianskyi, Volodymyr
Sinhalevych, Andrii Melnyk. Interestingly, that father-mitrate not only
cooperated and served faithfully to Metropolitan Sheptytskyi but also had
friendly relations, which resulted in effective economic activity of the
metropolis, in particular the Central Administration of Stolovi dibry of the
GCC, headed by T. Voinarovskyi.
It is noted that due to his sociability and ability to
make contacts, T. Voinarovskyi was a communicator in the Halychyna society of
the time and represented the interests of Ukrainian public associations and
institutions both in Halychyna and abroad. A wide range of contacts provided
Father-Mitrat with productive activities in the metropolis, financial and
economic institutions, and NGOs of Halychyna, and his relations with the
surroundings were based on trust, professionalism, responsibility in the
interests of the Church and the Ukrainian people.
